The State Insurance & Provident Fund Department was established in Rajasthan as a welfare measure for the employees with an aim of providing Economic & Social Security to all the Government employees of Rajasthan. With only 8000 employees under its umbrella in 1943, today the number has risen to more than 6.50 lakh Government employees. Besides, allowing an individual to save money in an efficient manner both the insurance and provident fund schemes allows savings to grow to help meet future financial obligations.

Aim & Objectives:
1. To provide social security schemes which besides encouraging savings provide financial & economic strength.
2. To give financial support to the bereaved family of a member of the scheme in the event of unfortunate death.
3. To provide protection against all kind of insurable risks.
